Irene F. Perry 86 of Danville passed away at 4:17 p.m. Saturday July 7, 2007 surrounded by her family at Provena USMC. She was born June 18, 1921 in Milton, West Virginia the only child of John Montgomery and Margie Marie Day Figgins Irene married Alfred Perry on Christmas Eve 1944 in Huntington, West Virginia; he preceded her January 2, 2005. They were married sixty years. Surviving three daughters; Suzy (Mike) Wilson of Mansfield, TX, Sandi (Bob) Randall of Danville, Sally Emory of Danville, one son Fred (GiGi) Perry of Overland Park, KS, nine grandchildren; Laurie Pearce, Paul Hempel, Mark Randall, Shannon LaBounty, Casey Perry, Leslie Peters, Amy Beckman, Sarah Emory and Jay Emory, also eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Irene was a devoted wife and mother along with her husband Alfred they enjoyed thirty years of retirement by living in Florida during winter months and Canada during the summer. Irene attended the First Church of the Nazarene, she loved music, flowers and all animals especially her cat Cody. Her life was rich and full and she was devoted to her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Irene was truly one of gods Angels and life without her will be very difficult. Wednesday July 11, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor Jerry Short officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday
