Irene Oldham

Champaign- Irene Oldham 95 of Champaign, Il passed away peacefully at Champaign County Nursing home on October 27, 2017. She was born in October 1922 the daughter of John and Emelie Edmond. On December 3, 1952 she married Sherman Oldham he precedes her in death. Irene is survived by her children Yvonne, Eileen, John and Elaine of Champaign, IL. Theresa of Naperville, IL. Sam of Los Angeles, CA, Beverly Ann Thomas of Birmingham, AL and Step-Daughter Janith Clophus of San Diego, CA. as well as five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Irene loved to read the Bible and enjoyed spending time visiting with her family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 30 at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation held two hours prior from 10-12 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 710 N Neil Street Champaign, Il 61820. Private Burial will be held Tuesday at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign, Il.
