Cayuga, Ind. -- Irene J. Williams, 82, of Cayuga, Indiana, went to be with her Lord at 9:15 a.m. EDT Friday, May 2, 2008 at her residence in Cayuga, Indiana. She was born June 24, 1925 in Cayuga, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert and Katie Smith. Survivors include: two daughters, Stella(Chuck)Willyard of Woodstock, Georgia and Helen L. Williams of Cayuga, Indiana; one son, Clarence(Kathy)Williams of Cayuga, Indiana; four grandchildren, Charlene(Steve)Hubbard of Washington State; Kenny(Shelly)Jackson of Watertown, New York; Tom(Nicole)Willyard and Monica Willyard both of Woodstock, Georgia; one great granddaughter, Charlotte Willyard; two great grandsons, Blaydon Williams and Devon Jackson; one soon to be born great granddaughter, Sidney Willyard; one sister, Marie Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers. Irene was a homemaker and wonderful mother, not only to her own three kids but to those who needed the love and care of a mother. Her heart was big enough for everyone. Irene enjoyed working on word search puzzles, playing UNO and Yahtzee. She especially enjoyed feeding and watching humming birds. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Thursday, May 8, 2008 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Steve Vitaniemi; Burial: Scotland Cemetery in Scotland, Illinois; Visitation: 10 a.m. EDT Thursday, May 8, 2008 until time of services at the funeral home.
