Cayuga, Ind. -- Infant Elena Michelle Garcia was born sleeping into the loving arms of Jesus at 2:09 a.m. EDT Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. Elena is survived by her Mother and Father, Brook Vansickle and Jose Garcia; sibling Gabriella at home; maternal grandparents, Steve and Cindy Rehmel of Cayuga, Indiana and Randy Vansickle of Newport, Indiana; maternal great grandparents, Linda Sheridan of Cayuga, Indiana; Silas, Ed and Nadine Doran of Illinois; Helen Vansickle and Raymond Clore of Newport, Indiana and Gary Vansickle of Kingman, Indiana; maternal great great grandparents, Helen Uplinger of Cayuga, Indiana and Betty Vansickle of Williamsport, Indiana; paternal grandmother, Cirila Ocampo Garcia of Mexico and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Elena was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mardoqeo Garcia, great great grandmothers, Erlene Brown and Celeste Doran, great great grandfather's Charles Griffin, John Doran and John Uplinger.
