Inez M. White

Danville- Inez Mildred Owens White of Danville passed away at 12:55 a.m. on June 13, 2013. Inez was born January 30, 1914 in Broadlands to David and Stella Owens. She married A. Euel White on October 5, 1935 in Danville. Inez was a homemaker, a mother, a great cook and was always active in the PTA. She was a teacher's aide at Edison School kindergarten and took great pride in her years of work as a Red Cross volunteer - a "Gray Lady" - at the St.Elizabeth hospital gift shop. She spent many years caring for her beloved husband, Euel, who preceded her in death on September 1, 2003. Also preceding her in death were her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Her sister, Judy of Sacramento, CA survives. Also surviving are her daughters, Marilyn (Bob) Lynn of Oakwood, Kathy (Ken) Parsons, Becky (Alan) Woodrum and Angie Shaffer, all of Danville; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family will gather for a graveside burial at Sunset Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside Euel, in her Gray Lady uniform.
