Inez Ann Wheeler

Inez Ann Wheeler, 83, of Attica, Indiana, passed away at 8:30am, Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at her home. She was born on June 18, 1934, in Georgetown, IL, the daughter of Elihu and Lois {Stark} Cope, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Edwin Wheeler Jr. on February 14, 1953, until his passing on August 6, 2010. She will be dearly missed by: her 7 children, Debbie Newlin, Cindy (Wendell) Bays, Ruth (David) Pollard, Mark (Sherry) Wheeler, William (Donna Inman) Wheeler, Brad (Paula) Wheeler, & Darin (Abbie) Wheeler; her sister, Donna (Jerry) Cooper; her 39 grandchildren; her 89 great grandchildren; her 18 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by: her son, Edwin Michael Wheeler; four brothers; and three sisters. Inez loved to make her house a home for her family. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and many card games. She loved spending time with her family, especially her many grandchildren. A celebration of Inez's life will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm, Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Michaels Cemetery, Indianola.
