Ida Mae Leeman

Ida Mae Leeman, 81, of Georgetown, passed away at 7:55pm, Monday, July 5, 2022, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Danville. She was born the daughter of Vernon and Mary {Lewis} Jones on October 29, 1940, in Georgetown, IL. She was united in marriage to Charles A. Leeman Sr. on December 6, 1952, until his passing on April 22, 2011. She will be missed by her sons, Charles (Teresa) Leeman Jr. of Georgetown & Kenneth (Karla) Leeman of Danville; her daughter, Pamela (Bob Detoye) Williford of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Lacy) Leeman, Brett Leeman, Kyle Leeman, Bryce (Jessica) Leeman, Brady (Danielle) Leeman, Heather (Justin) Arlington, & Amanda (Scott) Maquet; and her great grandchildren, Adrienne, Dalton, Cheyenne, Calen, Kenslee, Savannah, Hayden, Marlee, Payton, Kace, Adalyn, & one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, her daughter, Deborah Leeman; granddaughter, Dawn Marie Williford; two brothers; and one sister. Ida worked for General Electric for many years and retired from AutoZone. She enjoyed going mushroom hunting, cooking holiday candy, and hanging out with her best friend, Jennie. She also loved going to cookouts and attending her grandkids sporting events. She will be dearly remembered by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Idas life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, July 11, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois. Visitation will be held 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm.
