Ida C. Warrick

Covington, Ind. - Ida C. Warrick, 102, of Covington, passed away at 4:05 a.m. EST Monday, December 15, 2014 at The Waters of Covington. She was born February 22, 1912 in Attica, Indiana the daughter of the late Marshall R. and Katie Helms Clawson. She married John S. Warrick on April 16, 1934 in Dana, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1978. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Minnie Ellen Clawson of Covington, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Ida was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers. Ida was formerly of Indianapolis (10 years), Brownsburg (20 years) then moved to Covington in 1991. While in Brownsburg she was a cook at Brownsburg High School for 14 years. Ida was a member of the First Church of Christ in Covington and the Covington Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and watching T.V. Graveside services and inurnment of cremains will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington, Indiana.
