Hubert A Lewsader

Hubert A. Lewsader, 72, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 9:15pm, Thursday, August 27, 2009, at VA Illiana Health Care Systems, Danville. He was born on February 17, 1937, in Marshall, IL, the son of Snowden and Cora (Black) Lewsader. On July 11, 1958, he was united in marriage to Peggy Haddix in Jeffersonville, IN. She will miss him dearly. Others who will miss Hubert include: his children, Kevin (Dawn) Lewsader of Chrisman & Rose Ann (Mike) Spesard of Ridge Farm; his grandchildren, Megan Spesard of Ridge Farm, Kyle Spesard of Champaign, Alexis Lewsader of Chrisman, & Karson Lewsader of Chrisman; his brothers, Andrew (Nancy) Lewsader of Riley, IN, & Delbert Lewsader of Rosedale, IN; and his sisters, Helen Marie Layton of Marshall, IL, & Lillie (J.L.) McNamee of Garland, TX. His parents and one sister, Virginia Willis, preceded him in death. Hubert was a member of the Paris Church of Christ. He enjoyed numerous hobbies and loved helping people. He didnt know a stranger and enjoyed visiting with people. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving and dedicated husband and father who will be missed. A celebration of Huberts life will be held at 10:00am, Monday, August 31, 2009, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown, with Brother Gordon Wonsey officiating. Visitation will be 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Sunday, August 30, 2009, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm, with military honors. Memorial donations may be given in his name to Riley Hospital for Children.
