Howard Wagoner Sr.

Howard L. Wagoner Sr., 80, of Westville, passed away Thursday August 2, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born April 26, 1938 in El Paso, IL the son of Joseph H. and Juanita {Mikel} Wagoner. He married Helen Joan Nicholas on August 22, 1959 she preceded him in March 2010. Those who will miss him include: his six sons, Howard (Lori) Wagoner Jr of Paris, Randall L Wagoner 1 of Georgetown, Carl (Geneva) Wagoner of Westville, Danny (Kelly) Wagoner of Westville, Chad Wagoner of Westville and Brad (Amanda) Wagoner of Westville; his 25 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Howard was a jack of all trades and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping also gardening and squirrel hunting. Most of all he loved his family and grandchildren. A celebration of Howard's life will be held at 12:00pm (noon), Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St., Westville with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 10:00am -12:00pm on Wednesday prior to his service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
