Hilton 'Jackie' Wright Iii

Danville - Hilton John "Jackie" Wright III, 59 of Danville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 29, 2015 in Danville, Illinois. Hilton was born the son of Mildred and Hilton Wright II on February 18, 1956 in Danville, Illinois. On May 28, 1976, Jackie married the love of his life Sharon Keele in Danville, Illinois. Jackie is survived by his wife Sharon Wright of Danville; his children Hilton "Jay" (Amanda) Wright IV of Westville, Jennifer (Frank) Wilson of Danville, Tim (Candice) Wright of Danville; his grandchildren Emily Stoner, Ethan Stoner, Preston Wright, Jacob Wilson, Abigail Wilson, Christopher Wright, and Mackenzie Wright; and his siblings Carolyn Rodman, Marilyn (John) Kelly, Cathy Johnson, and Greg (Kaley) Wright. Jackie is preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Hilton Wright II, and his sister Patty Pender. Jackie was known as a "mister fix it" and a "Jack of all trades" to all he knew him. In his spare time he enjoyed going to county races, watching NASCAR on TV, and watching old western movies. He would also enjoyed his time on his patio drinking coffee, feeding the birds and neighborhood squirrels, and doing jigsaw puzzles. He also proudly dedicated his time by supporting local veterans. Jackie spoiled many meals by treating his grandchildren to candy, but they were very important to him and he cherished all time spent with them. A celebration of life will be held for Hilton J. Wright III on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home at 2:00 pm. A visitation will be held on Friday May 1, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home.
