Hilda M. White, 92, of Danville, passed away December 25, 2012, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1920, to Willie and Lillie (Martin) Calvin. Hilda worked at Snowers Sewing Factory and then as a cook for School District #118 for many years. She was married to Henry Dieu. From that marriage came children, Joyce Dieu, Henrietta (Bill) Delp and Larry (Tammy) Dieu. Henry preceded her in death. She married Noah Rife. From that marriage came children, Linda (Raymond) Parson and Noah Rife. Noah preceded her in death. She married James White. He preceded her in death. Hilda was also preceded in death by brothers, Noah Calvin and William Calvin and one sister, Ida VanDuyn. Hilda is survived by her five children; nine grandchildren, Debbie Miller, Geraldine Webb, Ron James, Angela James, Tresa Wilcox, Larry Dieu Jr., Karla Dieu, Missy Parson and Cindy Parson; several beloved great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces and nephews and a special caregiver, Carol Siddens. A celebration of Hilda's life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home, Danville, with Pastor Matt Filicksy officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 28 2012, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be given, in her name, to Leaf of Legacy Memorial Tree or to Alzheimer's Association.
