Herbert M. Pichon

Herbert Michael Pichon, 48, of Oakwood died at 6:03 am on Monday, December 19, 2005 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign. He was born October 20, 1957 in Danville the son of Herbert H. and Jacqueline (McCoy) Pichon. He is survived by his father Herbert H. and step mother Carol Pichon; his step father: Darrell Redman; two daughters: Minda Pichon and Marissa Pichon both of Fithian, IL; two brothers: Bob Pichon of Danville and Kenny (Brenda) Pichon of Monticello, IL; one sister: Julie Tabor of Danville; four step sisters: Dawn (Chris) Koers of Indianpolis, IN, Paula Newton of Florida, Debbie (Clem) Lever of Danville and Barb (Tim) Hunter of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Herbert was preceded in death by his mother and maternal and paternal grandparents. Herbert graduated from Oakwood High School in December 1974. He served is country in the Navy from 1975 to 1979. After getting out of the service he began his career as an electrician. He was a member of the local Electricians Union # 538. He was a member of the Blue Lodge Masonic Temple of Callison. He liked to play the guitar and banjo and was a member of the band the Sundowners. Herbert enjoyed mushroom and arrowhead hunting.
