Herbert C Rowe

Herbert C. Rowe, 71, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 5:20 pm, Friday, March 9, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born on March 17, 1940, in Danville, the son of Cryil William and Mary Bernice Ellis Rowe. He was united in marriage to Janet Sue Roach on August 11, 1968 in Ridge Farm. She preceded him on June 10, 2010. He will be missed by: his brother, Ronald E. (Linda) Rowe of Ridge Farm; two sisters, Esther (Billy Joe) Harmon & Miriam (Junior Wright) Hollingsworth of Danville; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents and one infant sister, Phyllis. Herbert was a custodian for the Ridge Farm School District for several years and operated a lawn care service as well. A Celebration of Herbert's Life will be at 11:00am, Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown with Linda Rowe officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Dana, IN.
