Herbert Arlo Loveall, Sr.

Tangier, Ind. -- Herbert Arlo Loveall, Sr., 72, of Tangier, passed away at 1:50 a.m. EDT Thursday, April 23, 2009 at his residence in Tangier. Herbert was born August 17, 1936 in Humrick, Illinois the son of the late William McKinley and Lucy Ellen Trosper Loveall. He married Marvis Joyce Lamb on September 27, 1968 in Danville, Illinois. She survives. Other survivors include his children: Herbert Arlo(Brenda)Loveall, Jr. of Covington, Indiana; Brenda Lee Loveall of Lafayette, Indiana and Lorie Ann(Robert)Kagels of Florence, Colorado; legal guardian of six nephews: Edward Lamb of Perrysville, Indiana; Jerry Lamb of Tangier, Indiana; Jesse Lamb of Plainfield, Indiana; Herschel Lamb of Georgetown, Illinois; Tony Lamb of Tangier, Indiana and James Gagnon of Hurlburt Field, Florida; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three sisters, Betty Flores of Gatesville, Texas; Doris(Kenny)Ashby of Tilton, Illinois and Lucy(Don)Bailey of Mesa Arizona; one brother, Leo Loveall of Covington, Indiana. Herbert was preceded in death by three sisters, June Lamb, Mary Myers and Louise Sanders; one brother, Joseph Loveall. Herbert retired from Tee Pak in Danville, Illinois in 1995 as a machine operator. He was a member of the N.R.A. and a lifetime member of the Treeing Walker Coon Hound Association. He enjoyed mushrooming, bird watching, coon hunting on his mules and training horses and dogs. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Monday, April 27, 2009 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. John Bigger; Burial: Miller Cemetery in Lodi, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the funeral home.
