Herbert A Sinkes Jr.

Herbert A. Sinkes Jr., 61, of Westville passed away on Friday October 18, 2019 at Carle Hospital with family by his side. Herby was born on August 29, 1958 in Danville the son of Herbert and Virginia (Cook) Sinkes.

Herby will be missed by his siblings; Steve (Angie) Sinkes of Westville, Fred (Jeannie) Sinkes of Gifford, Nancy (Terry) Howard of Westville and Tim (Pauline) Sinkes of Westville, six nieces and nephews; Dustin (Rachael) Sinkes, Stephen (Becky) Sinkes, Emily (Ali) Ahmed, Joshua Howard, Jillian (Ryan) Williford and Scott (Halee) Sinkes.

Herby was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Herby was a member of South Side Church of Christ, he loved to play his keyboard and sing. Herby also enjoyed computers and reading. Most of all he loved the time he got to spend with his family.

A Celebration of Herbys life will be held at 6pm on Monday October 21, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S. State Street Westville, Illinois 61883. Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Ziegler. Burial at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, Illinois. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service on Monday October 21, 2019 4-6pm. Memorial donations may be made in Herbys name to South Side Church of Christ.
