Henry Robertson, Jr.

Henry L. Robertson, Jr., 90, of Tilton, passed away at 11:20 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2009, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. He was born on July 11, 1919, in Clinton, IN, the son of Henry L. Robertson, Sr. and Flossie (Stableton) Robertson. Henry married Doris Adams on September 23, 1950, in Montezuma, IN. She preceded him on November 1, 2003. Henry is survived by one son, Loren (Beckie) Robertson of Fishers, IN; one daughter, Evelyn (Steve) Crawford of Danville; one brother, John (JoAnn) Robertson of Terre Haute, IN; two sisters, Mary Louden of Clinton, IN and Mae Frost of Strasburg, IL; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Marvin J. Robertson, three brothers, Fred, Ray and Paul; and two sisters, Ethel and Pat. Henry served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He worked as a Press Breaker and Inspector at Hyster, where he retired in 1981. He enjoyed gardening and flowers. A graveside service for Henry L. Robertson, Jr., will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Danville National Cemetery. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N.
