Henry Raphel Aquino

Henry Raphel Hank Aquino, 73, of Rossville, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005 at his home in Rossville with all his family at his side. He was born October 29, 1931 in Georgetown, Illinois, the son of Juan Rubio and Elizabeth Ann (Hopper) Aquino. He married Shelby Jean Garmon on August 12, 1955 in Danville, Illinois. Hank is survived by: his wife of over 49 years- Shelby Jean Aquino of Rossville; three sons - Mark (Beth) Aquino of rural Rankin, James (Lisa) Aquino of Bismarck and John (Pam) Aquino of Danville, twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters " Marie of Tilton and Ernestine of California; numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Mr. Aquino attended school in Danville and served in the United States Army. He retired from Lauhoff Grain Company in 1993 after 34 years. He attended St. Patricks and Holy Family Catholic Church. Mr. Aquino was a simple and strong man in life. He loved his God and his family. He enjoyed hunting, yard work, and animals in particular his Rottweiler, Louie. He especially enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.
