Henry Lee Rice

Danville - Henry Lee Rice, 66, of Danville, IL passed away on June 22, 2016 at 5:15 pm at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, IL. Henry was born on September 24, 1949 the son of William Ernest and Mary Fern (Brewer) Rice. Survivors include one brother; Robert D. "Bob" Rice of Danville, one sister; Nancy (Robert) Meeker, of Canby, OR as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers; John, Jim, Ray, and Earl. Henry enjoyed reading as well as watching sports, especially baseball, He was also fond of animals, and loved dogs and cats. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday July 2, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville, IL with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday July 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
