Henry 'Hank' Charles Haluska

Henry "Hank" Charles Haluska, 91, of Westville, passed away 8:42am, Sunday, September 15, 2019, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman. He was born in Westville (Kellyville) to Joseph and Pana Haluska on August 18, 1928.

Henry was married to Evelyn Beauvois and together they had five children: Monica, David, Steven, Carol, and Sharon. He also had five grandchildren: Mark, Tisha, Corbin, Kyle, and Elaina; as well as eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, his wife, Evelyn, and three of his children, David, Monica, & Steven.

Henry was a 1947 graduate of Westville High School. He was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force and was part of the 353rd Bombardment Squad. He was a member of the American Legion for 60 years. He was also a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Westville.

Henry was an avid Cubs, Bears, and Westville Tiger fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Mark, who he recently became very close with. His smile would go ear to ear when Mark came into the room. He also enjoyed visiting the Westville American Legion and cherry pie which would also make him smile and the utter the words, "Oh Boy".

A celebration of Henrys life will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, located at 414 S. State St. Visitation will be 11am to 1pm on Wednesday prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Danville National Cemetery at a later date.
