Henrietta Bernice Attutis

Henrietta Bernice Attutis, 90, of Westville, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at 6:42 AM at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman. She will be dearly missed by: her children, Theresa (Rick) Spillman of Watkinsville, GA, Justin (Ellen) Attutis of Cape Coral, FL, Trish Danko of Westville, Nancy (David) Ellis of Dana, IN, Matt (Holly) Attutis of Bedford, IN, Mark (Darla) Attutis of Westville, and Karen (Mitch) Parker of Pace, FL; her eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, Ron Russian of Georgetown. She is preceded in death by: her parents; loving husband, Joseph; brothers, Joe, Leonard, and Bernard Russian, and her son-in-law, Jack Danko. Henrietta was born in Westville on October 31, 1924, to Joseph and Anna (Kinder) Russian. She graduated from Westville High School. Henrietta married the love of her life, Joseph Albert Attutis, Jr. on July 6, 1946. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1994. Henrietta loved her family very much and always put them first. She also loved the outdoors, cross-stitching, quilting, and fishing. Henrietta was best in the kitchen. Her chocolate chip cookies, pies, fried chicken, and holiday meals will be greatly missed. Henrietta was an Avon representative for over twenty years. She also took part in the Alter & Rosary Society at St. Marys Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel. Father Timothy Sauppe will be officiating. Visitation will be Thursday March 26, 2015 from 4-7pm at the funeral home. A rosary will be said in her name at 3:30 PM Thursday prior to the visitation. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 27, 2015, at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Memorials may be given Henriettas name to St. Marys Catholic Church in Westville. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Henriettas caregivers for the love and sacrifice they gave to her throughout the years.
