Helen Milliron

- Helen Milliron 80, of Westville, passed away at 12:13 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 30, 2016) at her daughter's home in Westville. Helen was born Jan. 30, 1936 in Lake Steavens, WA. She was the daughter of Gareld and Yvonne Guilmette Milliron. Helen is survived by 3 daughters; Linda (Ron) Pate of Bismarck, IL, Deborah (the late Craig) Smoot of Westville, and Jackie (Tod) Besse of Hamilton, MA. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren; Shane, Kyle, Paige, Luke, Dani, Nathaniel, and Billy Wayne, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Charles W. Merchant, a granddaughter April Smoot, and a longtime companion Anthony "Duck" Rimshas. Helen held several jobs throughout her life, but was most recently employed by Quest Diagnostics as a route driver. For 10 years, she was a Red Vest volunteer at Presence United Samaritan's Medical Center in Danville. Helen always enjoyed spending time with her dog Petty; and she also enjoyed crocheting and playing pool. Of course her greatest love was the time she spent as a volunteer at the hospital. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wed. (Feb. 3, 2016) at Sunset- Urbas Funeral Chapel of Westville, 414 S. State St. in Westville. Officiating Rev. Jimmy Hopper. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Wed. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
