Helen Marjorie Wienke

Dana, Ind. - Helen Marjorie Wienke, 80, of Dana, passed away at 4:25 p.m. EST Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Clinton Gardens in Clinton, Indiana. She was born July 16, 1931 in Howard, Indiana, the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Dorene M. Harrison Allee. She married Howard"Bud"Wienke on January 18, 1958 in Eugene, Indiana. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2004. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa(Gordon)Porter of Dana, Indiana; two sons, Tony(Pat)Huffman of Lafayette, Indiana and Paul(Robin)Wienke of Dana, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Strawser and grandson, Michael Strawser. Marjorie was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. EST Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Dr. Andy Spencer; Burial: Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. EST Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
