Helen Marie Fuss

Helen Marie Fuss, 85, of Enville, TN, formerly of Fountain County, IN, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010. Helen was born on November 29, 1924, in Fountain County, Indiana, the daughter of Everly Cushman Orahood and Stella (Allen) Orahood. She married Bernard Fuzzy Fuss on July 31, 1948, in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on December 29, 1987. Survivors include two daughters: Sue (Mike) Fejes and Rose (Mike) Amalong, all of Tennessee; one brother: Hershel (Doris) Orahood of Covington, IN; three sisters: Norma (Bud) Warrick, Geneva (Russell) Lewsader and Arlene (Pete) McMasters, all of Covington; two grandchildren: Elizabeth (Andrew) Hebert and Kevin Amalong, all of Tennessee: two great-grandsons: Benjamin and Christopher Hebert, both of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents and three childhood brothers. Helen graduated from Kingman High School in 1942. She worked at various jobs throughout her life and retired as Manager from Olin Credit Union in 1986. She enjoyed word puzzles, backgammon, playing cards, baking apple pies (which she was greatly known for), watching NASCAR and rooting for any Indiana sports teams. She was most proud of all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. A Celebration of Helens Life will be held at 11:00 am EST Friday, November 12, 2010, at Sunsets Covington Chapel, A Life Celebration Home, 420 3rd Street - Covington, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington, Indiana.
