Helen M. (Walters) Holtz- Talbert- Cunningham (96) formerly of Danville Il passed away peacefully Jan. 14, 2020 at Pleasant Meadows senior Living where she was a resident.

Helen was born to Fremont and Ruby (Salmans) Walters Sept 24, 1923 one of 10 children whom all preceded her in death.

She married Ned W. Holtz July 1947. He preceded her in death April 1970. She married William Talbert Sept 1973 who preceded her in death Dec.1977. She later married Marion Cunningham Nov. 1986, he preceded her in death Feb. 1991.

Her survivors include 4 children, Melinda (Kenneth) Gabehart, Michael (Jane) Holtz, Patricia (John Alexander) King, Paul (Margie) Holtz and 2 Step Children, Nancy (James) Gallion, Beverly Day, 9 Grandchildren, 3 Step grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Helen graduated from DHS. After numerous occupations she retired from Danville Township. She was a volunteer at Provena Hospital and a member of United Church of Christ. Helen loved to have fun and spend time with her siblings and family. She enjoyed playing cards, BINGO, gambling, square dancing, camping, shopping and traveling

A celebration of Helens life will take place at 2pm on Saturday January 18, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Reverend Dr. Dale DeNeal of Second Church of Christ. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 1pm to 2pm. Burial will be as Greenwood Cemetery in Danville.
