Helen Lucille Matulis

Helen Lucille Matulis, 83, of Danville, formerly of Westville, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Provena Covenant Hospital in Urbana. Lucille was born on June 23, 1920 in Westville the daughter of John and Julia Matulis. Her parents, two sisters, Alberta Matulis and Bernice Ashmus, and a brother John Matulis preceded her in death. Cousins, Florence Pankey of Danville and Alfred John Smith of Godfrey, IL, survive her. In July 2001 she moved from her home in Westville to Liberty Estates in Danville Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 17, 2004 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville. There will be no visitation. She will be buried at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Westville, with Sunset's South's Westville Chapel in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville.
