Helen L. Moore

Dana, Ind. - Helen L. Moore, 83, of Dana, passed away at 3:53 p.m. EDT Monday, August 13, 2012 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was born July 31, 1929 in Horseshoe, Indiana the daughter of the late John B. and Fern H. Attebury Jones. She married Robert E. Moore on May 30, 1948 in Newport, Indiana. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2003. Survivors include one daughter; Marcia(Mick)Haga of Dana, Indiana, two sons; Greg Moore of Cayuga, Indiana and Ken(Rhonda)Moore of Dana, Indiana, ten grandchildren; Kayla(Jordan)Buck, Joshua Agusti, Adam Agusti, Chad(Grace)Moore, Chris(Jessica)Moore, Ryan(Katie)Moore, Kaylen Hoskins, Kari Hoskins, Kandis Hoskins and Kristen Hoskins, eight great grandchilden; Ryleigh Buck, Amelia Moore, Jonah Moore, Ethan Moore, Quentin Bina, Ethan Bina, Preslee Bina and Sofia Hoskins. Helen was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Dale Jones and daughter in law, Shirley Moore. Helen was a homemaker. She attended the Dana Community Bible Church. Helen was a 1947 graduate of Newport High School. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, raising flowers and spending time with her family. Memorial services: 7 p.m. EDT Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Dana Community Bible Church; Officiating: Pastor Marvin Miller; Visitation: 5 p.m. EDT until time of services at the church. Cremation has been accorded.
