Helen Jurczak

Helen N. Jurczak, 83, of Danville passed away on April 21, 2007 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Helen was born September 24, 1923 in Chicago the only daughter of Roy C. and Ruth E. Nelson. She married Matthew A. Jurczak in Chicago on August 24, 1946 and had three children. Surviving are two sons Jeff & Robert Jurczak and four grandchildren: Alexandra, Amy, Charles & Jacob. Helen was preceded by her parents, husband Matt and son Jonathon. Helen was a graduate of Wright Junior College and worked for many years as a secretary in the Danville School System as well as at the Vermilion County Court House. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting; and got great delight in giving her afghans away to her family and many friends. First Presbyterian Church was blessed with her attendance for many years. A Celebration of Helens Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Sunsets Community & Life Tribute Center. 3550 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL (Formerly Lakeside-Barrick Funeral Chapel) with Pastors Jimmy & Katie Hopper officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Per her and her families wishes she will be cremated after the services and will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville at a later date.
