Helen 'Joan' Wagoner

Helen Joan Wagoner, 70, of Westville, passed away on Saturday March 6, 2010 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on December 23, 1939 in Danville, IL the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Reddy) Nicholas. She married Howard Wagoner on August 22, 1959 in Danville, IL. He survives. Other survivors include her six sons: Howard (Lori) Wagoner of Chrisman, Randall (Sheri) Wagoner of Catlin, Carl Wagoner of Danville, Dan (Kelly) Wagoner of Danville, Chad Wagoner of Danville, and Brad (Amanda) Wagoner of Westville; twenty-six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and one sister, Carol Broderick of Westville. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and Skip Nicholas. Joan enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening. She was a great cook and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor James Blue will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel 414 S. State St. Westville, IL 61883.
