Helen Hartman

Helen L. Hartman, 94, of Danville, Illinois, passed away May 17, 2008 in Chrisman, Illinois. She was born in Argenta, Illinois on July 2, 1913 to John C. and Babel Morford. Before moving to Danville, she spent most of her life in Decatur, Illinois. Helen was married in 1946 to William J. Watson until his death in 1968. In 1972, she married Frank D. Hartman, who died in 1999. Helen is survived by nieces and nephews, seven step-children: Nancy (Dave) Ferris, Carolyn Boughton, Mary Hartman, Beverly Hartman, J.D. Hartman, Linda (Bill) Luce, and Larry (Barbara) Hartman, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked for General Electric for 25 years and was an active member of Second Church of Christ, Danville. A Celebration of Helens Life will be at 12:00 pm on May 23, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home, 3940 North Vermilion, Danville, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10 AM to Noon on May 23, 2008.
