Helen 'Floozy' Elaine Haworth

Helen Elaine "Floozy" Haworth, 92, of Georgetown, passed away at 8:50am, Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at her home. She was born on July 23, 1927, in Georgetown, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Pauline {Grider} Stephenson, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Harold Haworth on October 19, 1947, in Georgetown until his passing on January 6, 2019.

Helen will be missed by: her daughters, Rita (Donald) Noggle of Georgetown, Kathy (Dan) Meeker of Fairmount, & Jill Fudge of Villa Grove; her grandchildren, Lisa, Tim, Angie, Stacey, Lainey, Luke, Nick, & Cassie; her 15 great grandchildren; her 5 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Jerry (Norma) Stephenson of Georgetown; her brother-in-law, Bud (Jackie) Haworth; her two special cousins, Stephen Winkle & Sandy Stephenson. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Tony Lambert, two sisters and two brothers.

Helen had a career as a beautician that lasted 50 years. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and going to garage sales. She loved to be outdoors and riding horses. She was known by many as a "work horse". Helen cherished her family, especially her daughters and later her grandchildren. She will be remembered by all who knew her and loved her.

The family would like to thank her caregivers for the generous care that was provided to Helen during her illness.

A celebration of Helens life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, February 28, 2020, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with Pastor Ben Skinner officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Alzheimers Association.
