Helen Elaine Romine

Danville - Helen Elaine Romine of Danville passed away May 4, 2016. She is the daughter of Gus and Hazel Holaves. Helen married Keith Romine on July 7, 1975 in Las Vegas, NV, he precedes her in death. Helen is survived by sons, Merle and Johnny Davis; daughter, Deena Gardner; special granddaughter, Cathy (Lonnie) Lappin; six grandchildren, several great-great and one great-great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers. She enjoyed dining out, shopping and spending time with Cathy, Lonnie and her many grandchildren. She was the owner of Helen's Caf in Danville and later the co-owner of Hires Trucking Company of Danville, IL. A celebration of Helen's life will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, May 7, 2016. Visitation will be held prior starting at 1 PM. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude's.
