Helen A. Taylor

Helen A. Taylor, 84, of Danville, formerly of Catlin, passed away at 10:10pm Tuesday February 14, 2006 at the Hawthorne Inn. She was born June 8, 1921 in Carlisle, Indiana, the daughter of the late Gustave and Nettie (Hagerman) Mollett. Helen married Pratt Taylor on April 10, 1943, in Georgetown. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2000. Survivors include one son, Thomas L. (Sandra) Taylor of Georgetown; one daughter-in-law, Donna Taylor of Danville; three grandchildren, Brock Taylor of Danville; Lyndsey Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky; and Molly (Larry) Welch of Muncie, two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Taylor Welch of Muncie; and two sisters, Mildred (George) Vanvekoven of Wilmington, North Carolina; and Edith Lacey of Danville. Her parents, husband, one son, Joseph, and two brothers preceded her in death. Helen was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, gardening, canning, hunting mushrooms, and arrowheads
