Heidi Johnson

Heidi Johnson, 46, of Clarks Hill, formerly of Covington passed away on Sunday October 22, 2017 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Heidi was born the daughter of John and Nancy Shambach on June 10th, 1971 in Indianapolis, IN. Heidi met Adam Johnson and they married on October 17th, 1998. Adam survives. Also surviving Heidi are her two sons; Travis Hay and Evan Johnson, one grandson Lincoln Hay, one brother Phillip Shambach. Heidi enjoyed watching TV, learning about different Gems and doing her make up. She was the first female police officer in Veedersburg, IN, she worked as a EMT also a nurse at The Waters then as a ER Nurse at Williamsport Hospital. Most of all she loved being around her family and the time they spent together. A Celebration of Heidi's life will take place First Church of Christ 615 5th, street Covington, IN on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 4pm est. Memorial visitation will be held at the church from 12 - 4 pm est. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Heidi's name to Covington Community Foundation.
