Hazel M. Hoosier

Hazel M. Hoosier, 82, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 7:27pm, Sunday, August 20, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on May 1, 1935, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Forrest and Cora {Goodpasture} Taylor. She was united in marriage to James Hoosier on August 4, 1979. He survives. She is also survived by: her sons, Spencer (Cindy) Nale, Mark Nale, & Danny (Connie) Nale; her daughters, Julie (Randell) Cauley & Danelle (Chris) Reaktenwalt; her 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Bob & Don Taylor; her step-son; and two great grandsons. Hazel retired from General Electric. She enjoyed going to festivals & flea markets where she enjoyed collecting butter dishes. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family. A celebration of Hazel's life will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown, with Aaron Rohde officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to her service on Thursday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Forest Park Cemetery, Georgetown.
