Hazel Good

Hazel Dell Good went to Heaven on September 1, 2009 at North Logan Health Care in Danville. Hazel was born April 23, 1915 in Georgetown, IL the daughter of Grant and Nellie (Winter) Sandusky. She married Floyd Good on November 5, 1950 in Georgetown. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1966. Hazel is survived by a son: Randolph (Mary) Good of Danville; a step-son: Donald (Pat) Good of Danville; two granddaughters, two step-grandchildren, four great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one step-daughter. Hazel graduated from Georgetown High School in 1932. She worked at the Danville Polyclinic until 1985 when she retired. She attended church at Union Corner Methodist Church and was their treasurer for several years. A celebration of the life of Hazel Good will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville with Patty Wise officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Catlin. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, September 4, 2009 at the funeral home.
