Danville - Haydin Joe-Lee Long, of Danville, passed away on February 6, 2014. She was born September 19, 2013 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Veronica Finney and Mike Long. She is survived by her parents; her grandparents, Leigh (Byron) Hurder and Billy Joe (Greg) Miller; her great-grandpa, Bill Long; her great-grandma, Violet Zordan; her brothers, J.D. Finney, Gage Long, Michael Long, and Justin Long; her sisters, Kaylee Long, McKenzie Finney, and Madyson Finney; her uncle, Joseph (Brandy) Zordan; her aunts, Amanda Zordan, Becky Cardoza, Patty (John) Wagner, Diane (Jake) McDaniel, and Toni (Rick) Billbe; her cousins, Aliah, Jaydin, Benjamin, Nachelle, Blake, Brooklyn, Briana, Brittney, and Andrew; her god parents, Jason and Tina Swinford and their children Falynn, Masyn, Cody, Hailee, and Luke; and special friends Mark and Jenna Bolser, and Steve (Shirley) Finney, Nick and Marly, Donnie (Jean) Griffin and her NICU family at OSF She was preceded in death by her grandfather Armando Zordan, Uncle Bobby Miller, great-grandma Joyce Long, great-grandma and grandpa Sullivan, and great-grandpa Armando Zordan Sr. Haydin was known for being feisty and sassy; “She was the Boss”. She was known by her family as their little monkey. Haydin loved being sung to, and she couldnt be caught without a smile on her face. Everyone fell in love with her on first sight; she had a way about her where she could capture an audience. She will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A celebration of Haydins life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday February 12, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A visitation will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2014 from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home. Please join the Long-Finney Family in sharing memories, pictures, and videos of Haydins life on her tribute wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Haydins name to the NICU in OSF hospital in Peoria or The Family House. Children are welcome to the services as there will be a Memories of The Heart class in Haydins honor just prior to the visitation.
