Harvey Brown

Harvey Brown, 68, of Rockton, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Harvey was born on July 28, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland the son of William and Jessie {Yingling} Brown, both deceased.

Harvey will be missed by: his brother-in-law, Harold Ingle; his sister, Blanche Baumgartener; his several nieces & nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his foster mother, Ethel Clark; his two sisters, Ann Diffendal & Minnie Ingle; and two brothers, Billy Brown & Robert Brown.

Harvey proudly served his Country in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. Harvey was the happiest when being outdoors, visiting with neighbors, and spending time with his family. He had a quick wit and always had words of wisdom to pass on to others.

Harvey will be cremated and there will be a private entombment with family at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville where he will be laid to rest with his sister, Minnie, on Saturday, January 19, 2019.
