Harry Fagan

Harry Francis Fagan, 91, of Danville, passed away at 7:50am on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Provena USMC in Danville. He was born on February 22, 1918, in Danville, the son of Frank and Edna (Dorian) Fagan. On July 13, 1939, Harry married Mrs. Ruth Hack at the St. James Church in Belvidere, IL. He is survived and will be missed by his wife, Ruth of 69 years or marriage, their son, David Fagan (Diane Dalton) of Bradenton, Fl, their 5 daughters, Sandy Leonard of Tonica, IL, Judy (Fred) Schafer of St. Charles, MO, Debbie Lutton of Lafayette, IN, Kim (Greg) Hussmann of Batavia, IL, and Lorie Fagan of St. Peters, FL, his fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. His parents, and his brother, Dale Fagan, precede Harry in death. Harry was a graduate of the University of Illinois and spent his employment years at General Electric of Danville, retiring after 29 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, constructing birdhouses, gardening, and traveling to visit his children.
