Champaign Harry Barton Noice, 70, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at his home in Champaign, IL. He was born in Washington DC on March 27, 1950 to Fred and Thelma (Isenogle) Noice. Harry married Jeane Gohl on November 19, 1977 in Champaign, IL.
Harry is survived by his wife; children Timothy (Renee) Noice and Daniel (Brandy) Noice; grandchildren Natalia Noice and Emma Bratten-Noice; step-grandchildren Gage Koenig and Ayden Koenig; Emmas mother Andrea Lewis; and his dogs Franz Joseph and Giuseppe Giovanni "Gio." He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather William VanBemmel. His father died in a military plane crash in January 1951 with the Tuskegee Airmen.
Harry studied at Parkland College and Eastern Illinois University. He worked at Kraft for 36 years as a line technologist. Harrys hobbies included building museum quality tall mast ship models, woodworking, sports cars, target shooting, cooking, spending time with friends, and helping others. Traveling was his passion; he enjoyed cruising with his wife, always making new friends, and going to Disney with his family.
A celebration of life service will be held in Harrys honor at 3pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Champaign, Illinois 710 N Neil St. Champaign, Illinois 61820. Visitation will be held prior from 1pm-3pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in Harrys name to Lutheran Church Charities; Comfort Dog Ministry, K9 Ministry, and Crosses for Losses.
