Harriet 'Sonya' Linne

Oakwood - Harriet “Sonya” Linne, 82, passed away September 25, 2014. Harriet was born the daughter of Newman and Florence Hamburg on August 25th, 1932 in Fulton, New York. She married Frank M. Linne on October 24, 1954 and was preceded in death by her loving husband on January 29, 2007. Harriet is survived by her two sons Rick (Bobbie) Linne of Oakwood, Kim(Pam) Linne of Danville, one daughter Kerri Stingley of Watseka; ten grand children Rikki Jo (Aaron) Linne, Ryan Linne, Randi Jo (John) Kilkenny, Andy (Jodie) Linne, Ashley (Ryan) Taylor, Allison (Brad) Fleehearty, Aimee (Jay) Miller, Taylor Kupcik, Aubrey and Amber Stingley; and eight great-grandchildren Henry and Reagan Kilkenny, Alec and Julia Watson, Gavin Fleehearty, Van and August Linne, and Austin Miller. Harriet is preceded in death by her parents, brother Kerry N. Hamburg and sister Jackie Corbett. Harriet is a proud graduate of Danville High School class of 1950 and life long member of Oakwood Christian Church. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor Patti Wise will be officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. prior to the services. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park following the visitation.
