Harold W. Holycross

Harold W. Holycross, 88, of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 7:00am, Friday, April 28, 2023, at his home. He was born on May 9, 1934, the son of Albert A. and Sylvia Mae {Trosper} Holycross, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Edna Rosalie Mack on November 21, 1953, until her passing on November 21, 2012. Harold is survived by his daughters, Sherlyn McMasters and Marsha (Johnny) Peterson, both of Cayuga; his six grandchildren, Todd (Raven) Peterson, Michelle (Jasen) Marshall, John (Tracey) McMasters, Sami (Michael) Dillon, Jeff (Ruth) Holycross, & Skyla Holycross; his 19 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David Holycross; his son-in-law, John McMasters; his two brothers; and three sisters. Harold retired from Bohn Aluminum/Heatcraft on May 1, 1995. He enjoyed car shows, auctions, and was known as a "helping hand" to everyone. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Graveside service will be at 11:00am (EST), Monday, May 8, 2023, Eugene Cemetery, Cayuga, IN. His arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, DeVerter Chapel, 215 N.
