GEORGETOWN- Harold Lee Pribble, 82 of Georgetown, passed away at 11:04pm on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at the VA Illiana Health Care Systems in Danville. Mr. Pribble was born on October 2, 1923, in Danville, the son of Milford and Marie (Barkman) Pribble. Both parents precede him in death. Harold leaves behind and will be missed by his son; Alan (Pamela) Pribble of Aurora, IL, his daughter, Karen (Jim) Stark of Chrisman, his brother; Walt (Caroline) Pribble of Homer, IL, his two sisters; Loretta (Jim) Henderson of Ridge Farm and Maxine Sheppard of Georgetown. Harold will also be missed by his grandchildren; Scott-Alan (Michelle) Pribble, Heather (Buddy) Allen, as well as his three great-grandchildren; Cody Pluck, Darian Pribble, Riley Allen, and a very special friend, Carol Hoskins. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brandi. Mr. Pribble was a WWII Army Veteran who served his country proud. After the Army, Harold worked as an engineer on the railroad. He belonged to the Westville American Legion, 40-n-8 Club and volunteered his time at the Veterans Hospital in Danville. Harold enjoyed bowling and being with his family and friends. A celebration of the life of Mr. Harold Pribble is scheduled for 1:00pm on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home at 200 E. West Street in Georgetown. Officiating will be Steve Rutter. Final resting place has been chosen at Georgetown Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the Westville American Legion Post #51. Visitation is scheduled from 3-7pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given in Harolds name to the Volunteer Services at the VA Illiana Health Care Systems in Danville.
