Harold Nixon

Harold Nixon 83, of Danville, Illinois passed away on August 24, 2024. Harold was born the son of George and Jessie Bell (Morrison) Nixon on March 6, 941 in Monon, Indiana. Harold married Yvonne Cook July 30, 1993. She survives.

Harold leaves behind his wife Yavonne, his daughter Linda Nixon of Germany, three stepsons; James Allen, Robert Everett, and Roger Leror Baldwin, two step granddaughters; Shyann Ashby and Brooke Rapp, his sister Sharon Ann Nichols, brother-in-law Darryl Cook.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Harold proudly served in The United States Army for 18 years. He got to see the world and meet some great people. After his time in the service, he came back to the states and started his own business.

Harold will be laid to rest at Hicks Cemetery in Perrysville, Indiana with a Graveside service at 1:30 pm Illinois time. With Pastor Jim Blue officiating.
