Harold 'Mike' Jennings

Harold "Mike" Jennings, 72, of Danville passed away on Thursday May 19, 2016 at his home with family by his side. Harold was born in Lafayette on August 2, 1943, the son of Irene Divine. On February 22, 1962 Harold married the love of his life Frances Foust, she precedes him in death. Surviving Harold are two sons Mike (Cathy) Jennings, Jeff Jennings, one daughter Sandy (Shad) Jennings-Thomas, one brother Art (Nancy) Jennings of CA, and four grandchildren; Shean (Lacey) Jennings of Brocton, Andrew Jennings of Chicago, Alysia Jennings of Danville, and Jennifer Jennings of USN Bahrain. Harold is preceded in death by his wife and mother. Harold was a loving man and being with his family was very important to him. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies, fishing and spending time with his beloved dog, Sally. Harold spent most of his adult life as a member of the clergy where he found his passion in spreading the words of Jesus Christ. Harold will be truly missed by all he came in contact with. A Celebration of Harold's life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center at 3940 N Vermilion St. in Danville on Friday May 27, 2016 at 2pm, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in Harold's name to the National Parkinson Foundation.
