Gwendolyn Orr

Gwendolyn Gwen I. Orr Gwendolyn Orr, 89, of Danville, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2007 at Danville Care in Danville. Gwen was born on October 25, 1917 in Freeland Park, Indiana, the daughter of Fred L. and Mabel (Dunn) Spencer. She married Louis R. Orr in Champaign, Illinois on January 10, 1948. She is survived by her Daughter Christin Orr of Danville, Grandchildren Michael and Wesley Orr of Danville, Ashley Orr of Charleston, Illinois, and Erica Bryant-Mendez of Roseville, California, and Great-Grandchildren Nicole, Samantha, Jenna, and Sabastian. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, Brother Leslie Spencer, Daughter Susan Bryant and Granddaughter Stephanie K. Bryant. Gwen was a homemaker, an avid Chicago Cubs fan that loved to watch their games. When she wasnt cheering the Cubbies to victory, she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Services for Gwen are currently pending at Sunsets Community and Life Tribute Center in Danville. Memorials however may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
