Gwendolyn O. Dean

Gwendolyn O. Dean, 92 of Danville passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Hawthorne Inn of Danville. Born August 14, 1922 in Danville, she was the daughter of John Russel and Olivia (Lardin) Dean. On March 30, 1947 she married Robert E. Fish. They later divorced. Gwen worked in retail stores as a clerk, and was a secretary for her fathers law firm. She enjoyed spending time with her family whenever possible. She is survived by one daughter, Diana Whitley of Danville; and a grandson, Mark Whitley of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents. A graveside service for Gwen will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 5th at Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor James Blue officiating.
