Gretchen Zillman

Gretchen Zillman, 77, of Danville died at 9:24 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at her home. She was born October 30, 1931 the daughter of the late Russell L. and Elizabeth (Hudson) Guin. She married Louis Colfax Zillman on June 16, 1958. She is survived by three children, Thamar Zillman Radnoti of Kendallville, IN, Louis Colfax Zillman, at home, and Russell Guin (JoAnne) Zillman of Danville, two grandsons, Guin and Mike Zillman of Danville and two granddaughters, Alexa and Candice Radnoti of California, a nephew David Ford (Nikki), nieces, Sara Jane and Stephanie and great-grand niece, Heidi Elizabeth Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lou, in 2005, eldest son, T. Sam Zillman, and her sister, Jane Ann Faas. Gretchen was a mother, grandmother, great aunt and homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, reading and people. She loved people watching. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and a former member of the Danville Country Club. She was also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Rev. Tiffany Black officiating. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorials: St. James United Methodist Church, American Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
