Gregory Michael "Peck" Reeves, 55, of Danville, passed away at 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at his home in Danville. He was born April 28, 1949 in Danville, Illinois, the son of Fay and Charity (Cline) Reeves. Greg was a 1967 graduate of Oakwood High School and loved playing football. He had worked as a printer for the Commercial News and the University of Illinois. Greg's numerous hobbies included reading, creating knives, and watching sports (especially the Illini and the Cubs). He was a Danville resident, but also lived in Alaska, and loved fishing and hunting. He had a great passion for the Alaskan Wilderness and loved his dogs. Greg had a very colorful personality and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by: his mother- Charity Reeves of Danville; 1 Son- Rusty (Amy) Reeves of Indianola; 2 Grandsons- Gavin and Evan of Indianola; 1 Aunt- Helen (Charles) Taylor of Danville; special friends- Jake Starr of Anchorage, Alaska and Harlan Brown of Danville; numerous cousins and friends. His Father and Grandparents preceded him in death.
