Gregory Craig Herron

Gibson City - Gregory Craig Herron, 44, went to be with his grandmother Zepha Cline on Tuesday May 2, 2017. Gregory was born December 21, 1972 to Grady C. Herron and Marcia Cline Miller in Phoenix, AZ. Gregory attended Gibson school and Parkland College. You could always find Gregory with books, and reading was his passion. He taught himself how to read and write German and Spanish. Gregory was preceded in death by his stepfather Ed Miller; maternal grandparents Robert L. Cline and Zepha Hughes Cline; and three uncles Robert L. Cline, Frank W. Cline, and Donald L. Cline. He is survived by his mother; aunt and uncle Barbara J. and Stanley Turpin; and many cousins. Gregory will be greatly missed by his mother. A graveside committal will be held at 10am on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lexington, IL.
